How this works
- The full exam is six blocks of 60 items, 65 minutes each, exactly like the real
NAVLE. Blocks are fixed, so you never see the same question twice.
- Take the blocks in order, one sitting at a time. Your place is saved, so you can
come back days later and pick up at the next block.
- Once you end a block it is locked and graded. You cannot go back to it, just like
the real exam.
- Every item has exactly five options. Some responses may be partially correct. Choose the
response that is the most accurate.
Tools during the exam
- Highlighter. Select any text in the question to highlight it in yellow. Click a
highlight to remove it. Highlights stay as you move between items.
- Eliminate an option. Ctrl+click an answer choice (Cmd+click on a Mac)
to cross it out. Crossed-out options can still be selected as your answer.
- Mark flags an item to revisit. Marked items are outlined in the Review grid.
- Review shows all 60 items with answered, unanswered, and marked status, and is
where you end the block.
- A Calculator is available, as on the real exam.
- Keyboard: A to E select an option, left and right arrows move
between items.
This is a practice tool. It does not produce an official NAVLE score and its
percent-correct figure is not comparable to the ICVA scaled passing standard.
